Air Force men’s tennis wins all opening matches at ITA Mountain Regional

Air Force men’s tennis began the 2025 ITA Mountain Regional tournament with four victories on Wednesday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex, located on the UNLV campus in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The team achieved a perfect record for the day, going 4-0. In singles qualifying matches, sophomore Langdon Tingleaf won both of his matches, while senior AJ Moore also secured a win after receiving an opening round bye. Both players advanced to the main draw scheduled to start Thursday.

Tingleaf defeated Valentin Glasl of Idaho in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3. He then beat Lewie Bouman of Idaho State, also in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4. Moore won his round of 32 match against David Ismanescu of Montana with scores of 6-1 and 7-5.

In doubles competition, Moore and Tingleaf teamed up to defeat Eric Wang and Valentin Glasl from Idaho by a score of 8-4 in their round of 64 match. The pair will move on to the round of 32. Jack Brown and Phillip Deaton also advance after receiving a first-round bye.

Competition at the regional tournament will continue on Thursday.
