Air Force men’s tennis secures two singles wins at Colorado Cup

Air Force men’s tennis participated in the second day of the Colorado Cup on Saturday, an event hosted by the University of Denver at Denver Tennis Park. The Falcons secured two singles victories during the competition.

Senior players Jack Brown and AJ Moore both achieved straight-set wins against their opponents from Montana State. Brown won 6-4, 6-4 over Andre Stewart, while Moore defeated Eddie Biss 6-3, 6-4.

In doubles play, Air Force teams faced losses against pairs from Montana State and Grand Canyon University. The pairings of Brown/Leaird, Moore/Tingleaf, Fritzinger/Staton, and Deaton/Lee were each defeated in their respective matches.

The Falcons also had several singles matches with mixed results. In addition to Brown’s and Moore’s victories:
– Phillip Deaton lost to Andreas Loizas (GCU) 6-1, 6-2.
– Alec Fritzinger was defeated by Daniel Jankowski (GCU) 6-3, 7-6(3).
– Langdon Tingleaf fell to Oumar Diallo (MSU) 2-6, 6-3, 7-5.
– Tyler Leaird lost to Brice Patoux (GCU) 6-4, 6-4.
– Matthew Staton was beaten by Camille Chantron (MSU) 6-2, 6-2.
– Caden Lee lost to Diordan Macababbad (GCU) 6-1, 6-1.

The team is scheduled to continue play on Sunday for the third day of the tournament against Denver.
