Head Coach Evan Urbina said, “UCSD is a tough team, and I was proud we were able to get the doubles point today. We handled some tough moments with a lot of resilience. Tyler served excellent to clinch the doubles point. In singles, we had a lot of close first sets, and the guys made a bunch of adjustments to keep improving their level. Tyler had great energy. Phil stayed consistent throughout, and kept making the match physical. Langdon overcame a slow start to get the clinch in singles. Looking forward to GCU. Go Falcons!”
With this result, Air Force improved its momentum ahead of its next contest against Grand Canyon University scheduled for March 25.
