Air Force men’s swim and dive leads Denver and Wyoming after day one

The Air Force men’s swimming and diving team ended the first day of competition at Cadet Natatorium ahead of Denver and Wyoming, but behind No. 14 LSU.

In the 200 breaststroke, freshman Brandon Cho secured first place with a time of 2:01.06. Teammate Tanner Wilson finished second in 2:03.82, while Bridon Rosales and Anthony Sebastian placed fourth and fifth respectively.

The Falcons’ 200 medley relay team—James Winterfield, Bridon Rosales, Tanner Wilson, and Jordan Falls—finished second with a time of 1:30.67.

Camden Swigart took second place in the 400 IM with a time of 4:05.32. Freshman Matthew Doty was fourth at 4:08.54.

James Winterfield earned second place after finishing in 49.15 seconds, while Tanner Wilson and Danny Detjen finished fourth and fifth.

Jordan Falls placed fourth in the 100 freestyle with a time of 46.01 seconds.

Dylan Ferguson finished fourth in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:58.90.

On the diving side, Lucas Gerten scored a 338.75 on the one-meter springboard to finish second for Air Force.

Competition will continue Saturday, October 18 at Cadet Natatorium beginning at 11 a.m. MT.
