Air Force is set to host Miami (Ohio) on Saturday, November 16 at Clune Arena in Colorado Springs. The game is scheduled for noon Mountain Time and will be available for viewing on the Mountain West Network. Fans can also listen via the Varsity Network App or XTRA Sports 1300 AM with Jim Arthur providing play-by-play coverage. Live statistics will be accessible through Statbroadcast.

The Air Force Falcons are currently seeking their first win of the season, holding a record of 0-3 and an eight-game losing streak. In their last outing, they were narrowly defeated by LIU, 76-72. The Miami (Ohio) Redhawks arrive with a 2-0 record after a dominant 129-49 victory over Trinity Christian.

This matchup marks only the second meeting between the two programs. Miami (Ohio) claimed victory in their first encounter on December 2, 2024, with a score of 73-60 in Oxford.

Joe Scott leads Air Force as head coach in his sixth year of his second tenure and tenth overall season at the academy. His school record stands at 94-172. On the opposing bench, Travis Steele is entering his fourth season guiding Miami (Ohio), where he holds a school record of 54-46.

Air Force begins its 70th basketball season this year and has welcomed nine freshmen to join eight returning players for the current roster. Through two games so far this season, freshmen have contributed more than half—54 percent—of the team’s scoring output.

A notable achievement for Air Force includes recent graduate Ethan Taylor being selected ninth overall in the NBA G-League Draft by Greensboro Swarm before being traded to the Santa Cruz Warriors, affiliate of the Golden State Warriors.

Looking ahead, Air Force will host Alabama State on Wednesday, November 19 following Saturday’s contest against Miami (Ohio).
