Air Force will host Colorado State on Tuesday, February 10, at Clune Arena. The game is scheduled to start at 7:05 p.m. Mountain Time and will feature a Falcon Fiesta Night promotion.
Fans attending the game should note that all three sets of stairs and the west ADA ramp into Clune Arena are now fully operational. The Air Force athletic department thanked fans for their patience during the completion of this project and looks forward to welcoming them back.
For those without Department of Defense identification cards who are over 18 years old, a visitor pass is required for base access.
The matchup will be broadcast on ALT2/MWN with Tyler Maun providing play-by-play commentary and Brian Jerman as analyst. Radio coverage will be available on AM 740 KVOR and the Varsity App, with Jim Arthur handling play-by-play duties. Live statistics can be followed through Statbroadcast.
Air Force enters the contest with a record of 3-20 overall and 0-12 in Mountain West Conference play, currently on a 16-game losing streak after falling to San Diego State in their last outing. Colorado State stands at 13-10 overall and 4-8 in conference games, coming off a win against San Jose State.
Interim head coach Jon Jordan leads Air Force in his first season in this role, while Ali Farokhmanesh is in his first season as head coach for Colorado State. In previous meetings between these teams, Air Force trails the series with an overall record of 34 wins to Colorado State’s 92.
Notably, more than half of Air Force’s scoring comes from its freshman class this season, increasing to over sixty percent during conference games. Five of Air Force’s non-conference opponents are currently leading their respective conferences. Caleb Walker has been efficient offensively, shooting over seventy-three percent from the field this season and making sixteen consecutive baskets across three games—a streak that ranks fourth nationally.
Freshman guard Kam Sanders recently set a school record by making fifteen consecutive free throws in a single game against South Dakota, breaking a mark that had stood since 1958. Additionally, Air Force has made at least one three-point shot in each of its last five hundred eleven games dating back to 2009.
Following Tuesday’s game against Colorado State, Air Force will travel to face Fresno State on Saturday, February 14 at Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. That game will begin at 2 p.m. Pacific Time and will be streamed on the MW Network.
