The Air Force Falcons men’s wrestling team will return to Clune Arena for two Big 12 Conference dual meets against Utah Valley on Feb. 13 and California Baptist on Feb. 15, according to a Feb. 12 announcement.
These events are important as they provide opportunities for the Falcons to improve their conference record and showcase top-ranked wrestlers in front of a home crowd. The matches also include special events such as Faculty Appreciation Night and a free youth clinic.
Fans can watch both matches live through FloWrestling.com, with real-time results available on TrackWrestling.com, and updates provided via @AF_Wreslte on X. Entry procedures at the U.S. Air Force Academy require visitors without Department of Defense identification cards to obtain monthly visitor passes, which can be requested online; attendees must present both their pass message and game tickets at entry gates.
In national rankings, four Falcons appear among the top 33 in their divisions: senior captain Tucker Owens is ranked No. 15 in RPI at 125 pounds; sophomore Carter Nogle is No. 25 at 141 pounds; Brian Burburija holds No. 32 at 184 pounds; and Karson Tompkins ranks No. 29 in RPI for the 197 division while also holding various positions across other polls.
Against Utah Valley, Air Force holds an all-time series lead of eleven wins to eight but lost last year’s meeting after five consecutive victories over the Wolverines. In matchups with California Baptist, the Lancers have won the past two meetings despite Air Force’s overall advantage since joining the Big Twelve Conference.
The program will host a free youth clinic before Sunday’s dual meet with California Baptist for students from kindergarten through eighth grade, followed by an autograph session with Falcon athletes.
Looking ahead, Air Force concludes its season with three home meets including Senior Day against Northern Colorado on February 22.
