Air Force will host the Nevada Wolf Pack in a women’s basketball game on Saturday, December 20 at Clune Arena. The Falcons currently hold a 6-5 overall record and are looking for their first Mountain West Conference win, while Nevada stands at 4-7.

The game is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. MT and will be broadcast on the Mountain West Network with Vince Greco and Jean Parker providing commentary. Radio coverage will be available on XtraSports AM 1300 with Ryan Kaufman calling the action courtside. Fans can also follow live statistics through StatBroadcast, with all links accessible via the women’s basketball schedule page at goairforcefalcons.com.

Air Force’s offense is led by senior Milahnie Perry, who averages 16.1 points per game, followed by juniors Jordyn Devaughn (8.6) and Jayda McNabb (8.5). The team ranks second in the conference for offensive rebounds per game (13.4) and turnovers forced per game (19.2), as well as third in steals per game (10.6). Perry’s scoring average is surpassed by only two other players in the Mountain West so far this season.

In their most recent outing, Air Force lost to Utah State 65-53 after tying the score late in the third quarter but falling behind in the fourth. Junior Keelie O’Hollaren led with 16 points, while Emily Adams and Jayda McNabb each added 10 points; McNabb also contributed 10 rebounds. “For the game, Air Force (6-5, 0-1 MW) led Utah State in points off turnovers (22), offensive rebounds (16), bench points (18), points in the paint (30), points off fast breaks (13) and steals (eight),” according to team statistics.

Jayda McNabb has been a consistent contributor for Air Force during her time at the Academy. Last season she averaged 7.9 points per game and earned six double-doubles, leading her team in rebounding and ranking second in offensive rebounding within the conference. This year she leads the Mountain West and is second nationally with an average of 5.1 offensive rebounds per game; she also ranks among conference leaders for total rebounds and steals per game.

“McNabb has scored four double-doubles to date and three in the / Falcons’ last four contests,” notes team reporting. She is shooting .516 from the field this season and has recorded double-digit rebounds over her past four games.

Historically, Air Force trails Nevada in their series matchup with a record of 10 wins to Nevada’s 22; a victory on Saturday would end a three-game losing streak against Nevada.

Milahnie Perry recently reached 1,421 career points—just shy of sixth place all-time at Air Force—and remains within reach of higher marks as she continues her senior season.

Over recent seasons, Air Force has posted strong home records: they are notably successful when scoring over 70 points or out-rebounding opponents at Clune Arena.
