Air Force Falcons finish third at Commander-in-Chief’s Cup golf tournament

Senior Eric Liveringhouse led the Air Force golf team during the final day of the Commander-in-Chief’s Cup held at Winged Foot Golf Course in Mamaroneck, New York, on October 1.

Liveringhouse finished the last round with a score of 73 (+3). Junior Carson Baker was the highest-placing Falcon overall, securing third place with a total score of 228 (+18).

Navy claimed victory in the tournament with a combined score of 1388 (+128) over 54 holes. Army finished second with a score of 1406, while Air Force placed third at 1411. Each team fielded eight players, and the top six scores contributed to the team’s total.

The Air Force golf team will next compete at the Xavier Invitational in Cincinnati, Ohio, scheduled for October 20-21.
