Air Force Falcons and Colorado State end match in 1-1 draw

The Air Force Falcons women’s soccer team ended their weekend with a 1-1 draw against Colorado State on Sunday evening at CSU Soccer Field in Fort Collins. The Falcons, now holding a record of 4-6-3, managed seven shots during the match and maintained a strong defensive effort.

Colorado State scored early in the third minute with a goal from Michaela McGowan. Air Force equalized in the 19th minute when what appeared to be a shot by Kendall Rippley was ultimately ruled an own goal by Colorado State. Goalkeeper Trishelle Lopez contributed three saves for the Falcons.

Looking ahead, Air Force will return home to face UNLV in a Mountain West Conference matchup at Cadet Soccer Stadium on Thursday, October 16 at 6 p.m. MT.
