Air Force will host Grand Canyon University on Tuesday, March 3, at Clune Arena in Colorado Springs for its final home game of the season. The matchup is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Mountain Time and will be broadcast on the MW Network with Brian Jerman providing play-by-play commentary. Fans can also listen to the radio stream on KVOR AM 740, called by Jim Arthur, or follow live statistics through Statbroadcast.

The event is designated as Fan Appreciation Night. Organizers have announced that all three sets of stairs and the west ADA ramp into Clune Arena are now fully operational following recent construction work. “We appreciate the patience of our fans and look forward to welcoming them back to our athletics events with this completed project,” according to a statement from Air Force officials.

Those without Department of Defense identification cards who are over the age of 18 must obtain a visitor’s pass for access to the base where Clune Arena is located.

Air Force enters this game with a record of 3-26 overall and 0-18 in Mountain West Conference play, currently riding a 22-game losing streak after falling to Wyoming 66-62 in their last outing. Grand Canyon holds an 18-11 record overall and is 11-7 in conference play; they lost their most recent game against Utah State, 74-69.

The teams previously met on February 3 in Phoenix, where Grand Canyon won decisively, 81-57. This gives Grand Canyon a one-game lead in the all-time series between these programs.

This season has seen significant contributions from Air Force freshmen, who account for more than half of the team’s scoring both overall and during conference games. Guard Kam Sanders leads all Air Force freshmen in scoring average during the Mountain West era with 12.3 points per game, while forward Lucas Hobin follows closely with an average of 12.1 points per game. Hobin also holds the program’s freshman record for three-pointers made (69), and Sanders has set a new mark for assists by an Air Force freshman (112).

After hosting Grand Canyon, Air Force will conclude its regular season schedule at Nevada on Saturday, March 7.
