Air Force will travel to Laramie, Wyoming, to face the University of Wyoming Cowboys on Saturday, February 28. The game is set for 2 p.m. Mountain Time at Arena Auditorium.

The matchup will be broadcast on the MW Network, with a radio stream available through KVOR AM 740 featuring play-by-play from Jim Arthur. Live statistics can be followed via Statbroadcast.

Air Force enters the contest with a season record of 3-25 overall and remains winless in conference play at 0-16. The Falcons are currently on a 21-game losing streak, coming off an 86-80 loss against San Jose State. Wyoming holds a record of 15-13 overall and is 6-11 in conference games after losing their last game, 72-62, at Boise State.

This game marks the 131st meeting between Air Force and Wyoming, making the Cowboys Air Force’s most frequently played opponent. Wyoming leads the all-time series, having won 87 out of the previous matchups compared to Air Force’s 43 wins. Their last meeting took place on December 30, 2025, when Wyoming secured a victory with a score of 68-56 at USAFA.

Both teams are led by relatively new coaches: Jon Jordan serves as Air Force’s interim head coach during his first season in this role (ninth overall at Air Force), while Sundance Wicks is in his second season as head coach for Wyoming.

A significant portion of Air Force’s scoring comes from its freshman class—58 percent overall and up to 65 percent during conference games. Freshmen Lucas Hobin (12.4 points per game) and Kam Sanders (12.1 points per game) lead all freshmen in program history for scoring averages during the Mountain West era. Hobin also holds the program record for three-point shots made by a freshman with 68 this season; Sanders has set the freshman assists record with 107.

Compared to their opponent, Air Force brings less experience onto the court: players have combined for a total of just 435 games played versus Wyoming’s roster total of 718 games.

Following Saturday’s matchup, Air Force will return home to host Grand Canyon on Tuesday, March 3 at Clune Arena. That game is scheduled for a tip-off at 7 p.m. Mountain Time and will be streamed live via the MW Network.
