The Air Force Falcons’ 2026 football schedule was released on Mar. 9 by the Mountain West Conference, featuring seven home games and matchups against both traditional rivals and new conference members.

The release of the schedule is significant for fans and supporters, as it outlines key dates for home games at Falcon Stadium and introduces new opponents to the conference lineup.

The Falcons will begin their season on Parent’s Weekend, Saturday, Sept. 5, hosting Duquesne. North Dakota State will play its first Mountain West game at Falcon Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 12. After an open week in week three, Air Force will start its Mountain West road play at Nevada on Saturday, Sept. 26.

Commander-in-Chief’s trophy competition starts with a home game against Navy on Saturday, Oct. 3. The team then travels to face Northern Illinois (NIU), another conference newcomer, before returning home to play UNLV on Oct. 17. Additional notable games include a trip to Wyoming and back-to-back non-conference home games against UConn and Army in early November.

The regular season concludes with three Mountain West matchups: San Jose State and UTEP at home on Nov. 14 and Nov. 21 respectively, followed by a road game at New Mexico on Nov. 28.

Mountain West national television partners CBS Sports, FOX Sports, and CW Sports will now begin selecting which games they will broadcast, including possible shifts to Friday nights before assigning network outlets and kickoff times.
