Regular gas was sold at the lowest price of $2.75 per gallon at one gas station in Cheyenne County during the week ending Mar. 7, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $2.82 per gallon for regular gas.
Cheyenne County had two of five reported gas stations offering regular gas.
Across Colorado, the average reported price for a gallon of regular gas rose to $3.28, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
